Suicide

KCMSD School Counselors Care
Nobody should be responsible for taking their own life

People usually attempt suicide to stop emotional pain. This pain may be caused by a variety of problems. Suicide is often times the ultimate cry for help. A person who thinks about suicide is often so distressed that they do not see that there are other options.

---- Do you feel isolated?
---- Do you feel you have no where to turn?

If you need help, please tell someone! Here, at Kansas City Missouri School District, we have a Lead School Counselor, Crisis Intervention Team, School Counselors available in every building. There are those who care and will help.
If you are in need and don't know how to ask for help to a counselor, teacher, clergy, parent or friend and say "I NEED TO TALK WITH SOMEONE RIGHT NOW!".
