Welcome Special Health Projects!

     The Medical projects are collaborated with community partners to till in gaps of services needed. Community Partners include the Deron Cherry Foundation, Kauffman Foundation, UMKC Dental School, Swope Parkway Mental Health Center, Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, Fox 4 Love Fund, Lions Club, and LensCrafters. Elementary and Middle School truancy intervention/prevention, and homeless student's services are included under special programs. Enhanced special medical services include:

• Elementary Health Screenings (4600 students)
• Dental Screenings and Treatment (4800 Elementary Students)
• Advance Vision Screenings and eye glasses (4800 Elementary Students)
